GUINNESS SHAPES THE FUTURE OF RUGBY THROUGH HISTORIC PARTNERSHIP WITH WOMEN’S AND MEN’S SIX NATION CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Guinness, a supporter of the sport of rugby since 1942, has once again partnered with Six Nations rugby to announce the new Title Partnership of the Women’s Six Nations in 2024, alongside extending its Title Partnership of the Men’s Championship from 2025. This sponsorship shows the unwavering commitment of Guinness to equality in sport and across all facets of life.
Guinness first became a partner of Six Nations Rugby in 2010, and in 2019 it became the first ever partner of the women’s Championship together with the Title Partnership of the Guinness Men’s Six Nations. Guinness is driving rugby to new highs, inviting more fans than ever before to experience these unmissable competitions.
This partnership will support the skill and talent of the women’s competition to surge forward towards a level playing field between the men’s and women’s game. Guinness will Never Settle until rugby is a place where everyone belongs.
“This is a new era for Guinness Rugby and we can’t wait for it to kick off” comments Stephen O’Kelly, Global Brand Director for Guinness. “Let’s raise a Guinness to the future of these Championships, which are set to be as exciting for the fans as they will be for us.”
The Six Nations competitions come back bigger and better each and every year, and with this announcement fans will undoubtedly look forward to a greater spectacle than ever. The 2024 Guinness Men’s Six Nations begins on February 2nd, and the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations will kick off on March 23rd.
